May I assume that you will be glued to your TV set to watch the World Cup matches? :) I think that the ESPN sports network will be carrying a lot of the games here. I am not a big fan of soccer, but I think I will check out some of the action.
It must have been a relief for you to return to milligram posting! ;)
NBB - I am a football addict & this is what most fans await right after the final whistle of the final every time :-) I'll be supporting Iran & Holland with France n England my next choices :-D
david - watch selective footie like Brazil matches or perhaps Holland. Yeah minimals are much healthier. In my openion even if they write the secret of eternal life in more than 5-6 lines people won't read it carefully :-D
I am a BIG fan of football... which will lead to major friction with the gf over the next couple of weeks. My prediction... England & Brazil. I am inclined to take your advice... but can one realy make up in advance for what we will miss (not get) in the next 4 weeks?
Well, I'm going to sound the most stupid here; however, is it a world Cup football match going on? (and for those who may wonder; no, I'm not a blonde.) mariamsusic.
Here at school, the international office has prepared a big common room with a wide TV for the students to watch football together. It is gonna be a lot of fun when Mexican and Iranian sit together to watch the game :)) The funny thing is that the alcoholic beverages are not permitted. They think they are preventing fights :)) nemidoonan bazi melliayata vaghte footbal nakhorde mastan :D
Kimia I know sth for sure! I am dangerous and wild when watching football :-D not in the real sense of hurting others but I might hurt myself when I jump up and down or shout loud ( as if it would make a differance!!!)
Keeping my fingers crossed for both Iran and Sweden. And since it is the world cup, anything can happen (look at Ecuador against Poland yesterday... I betted on Ecuador and had a lot of smirks at work).
Yes, can't wait till maniana for Iran's game. I wish their first game was not with Mexico. I paly some soccer eventhough my brother in law tells me that is very unfeminan and I will not find a husband;)!!!
