The Sensibility of Nonsense...

... a woman in Africa dies of hunger, the woman in the middle east fights for women's rights and far across the ocean, she is singing of her hump, her hump, her hump, her lovely little lumps! it's a miracle...

Good post, indeed. It always amazes me that at any given time people throughout the world may be involved in tragic or heroic or comic or joyful things--all at the same moment.
Almost more than my mind can take in.

I have heard that song. It is incredible (not really in a good way)! :) I think that singer should spend some time in Sudan or Pakistan and then write a new song!

I will stop hibernating soon. :)

Values change widely on this planet of ours. While some try to prove their ability & show the human side of women others sell sex & sexiness... well guess the world needs both groups to build & to crush in all cases ;-)

P.S: When did we scoop down so low to be sexually attracted to people only!?

P.S 2: Ah I love the song for the rhythm ;-)

nyx - so sick but no cure yet found for it ;-)

em - can't explain this one! it is just so wierd to me. Perhaps the human race has not followed a single path but various ones of difference?

NBB - lol. she is among the ponderers as well. she is far better moving goal-wards. Goog luck.

Jarvenpa - me too! Totally puzzeled but guess we are know there are people like us. I felt so lost n all alone. I guess you also meet various people of all kinds due to your job.

david - well the song has a good rhythm & to be frank I do like it coz it puts me in a party mood but thinking of the lines it's jus so funny...

Going for a count down on yr next post david.

atleast once a day I think about stuff very similar to your post. today i think i say something like " there are people starving, others that cant get to markets cus they are blown up, yet we have over 234 different types of potatoe chips to choose from..."
it was totally lost on my 26 year old co-worker. oh-well

what can I say, you are so right about Her Hump, and Her hump

foulla - and life makes sence only through variety.

Frank - there ain't many countries women are leadin a happy life in or havin the same rights as men although it might be so in their law books! but perhaps it must be said "give anyone species too much rope n they'll fuck it up" ;-)

Spyder - excellent piece sir! that was beautiful. Yeah we are living in the VALLEY OF DIFFERENCE.

َپیاده - :-) I don know but is this the next stage after freedom is achieved?

I think Spyder makes a good point. Somehow we have all encapsulated ourselves in our own candy coated shells. It's a hard thought process to wonder if one person being uh, vocally 'humpless' benefits the others you used as an example. Does it indicate that someone losing said 'hump' somehow restores a balance? Either way, we all need a reminder now and then; thanks! ;)

Haha... I don't get the words of that song as well. I must be getting on in years or perhaps it is just too absurd.
I guess it is all perspective and relativity. Although one has to wonder at which point one's life becomes meaningless and when does getting up in the morning become the only highlight of one's sad existence.
All the best for 2006, doc. I'm a little late... but I would like to think I am fashionably so. :)

I like the title :) It really goes with the context.

Yes, my humps, my humps my lovely lady lumps. Meaning, my breasts and butt.

I know this song. And everytime I hear it on the radio I refuse to listen to it because it's so stupid. You're right, when so many bad things are going on in the world, it's hard to see how people can make such ridiculous music. Also degrading ones self like that. Well it's popular culture, and what can we do about it?

LW - I am a fan of the band & like the music. I don mean to dis the song but show the contrast we are living in...

Chitty - yeah that is sad! the lost goal of waking up in the morning! wow ;-) nice to hear ya man.Wish U all the best as well...

Kimia - yeah it was a sudden rush of blood or a brief hallucinating period perhaps ;-)

Juliana - funny song that! emphasising sexual attraction which is a fact but the only factor!? I don think so!

How ironic, is it not!

Hey Omid. What does the star next to the different blogs in your links mean? Just curious...

Dr O2 said...

barbara - yeah. Life is an ironic tale of differnces.

Juliana - In the links section blogs which are recently updated move upward & the order stays according to the most recent to the oldest & the star shows they have been just updated (in the past 24hrs).
