Reality Transfusion...

I remember life back in those days watching films in the black-&-white TV set at my grandpas while the world was full of boisterous colors. Now TV sets show us the extinct colors of life while life itself is in black & white!

...and then you remind me to take off the sunglasses I am trying on, as if the world would be any brighter if I lay down the shades I ware to deny being colorblind & stare at the not-so-shining sun.

" Oh doctor please help me out! I am beginning to see red rivers among these shades of black & white!"
" Hey son, we sometimes have the vision but it's nothing more than visual hallucinations. My advice for you is TO SHUT UP & DON'T EVEN TALK ABOUT IT."

A very close friend of mine tried to explain why i was so in love with a girl, for i could not understand why i felt so deeply for her. he said, " have you ever seen those movies, videos,or commercials where the world is black and white, but then the subject is in red? Well thats how you see her. " i never commented on his observation, perhaps i should have.
to her.

I am wearing the same sunglasses as yours. But don't you think others are wearing sunglasses which are worthy to be noted?

explanation:

I was watching news all about racism, oil & the future war over water.

the post has got three parts (paragraphs)

first - intro & how the world is changing the beauty once built as a goal. black n white is somewhat into the racism & the ongoing fight over oil & water.

second - the effort to explain the flaws in the progressing civilization. Sunglasses stands for two meanings here; 1. denial 2. ...

third - the force which keeps the few thinking quiet... red rivers is in turn for...

This is very powerful. Sometimes I am chilled by what I see in the world scene both in my country and everywhere else--and wonder if people around me are wearing, not sunglasses, but blinders.
But I do love spyder's friend's explanation of love--also very true.
I'll be waiting for parts 2 and 3, dr o2

I have to admit that I don't completely get the post though...

em - perhaps I went too far on this one :">

spyder - good one spyder! liked this view alot.

Frank - I guess all of us wear such sunglasses of obligations & denial. Sunglasses are sometimes among the necessities but it acts as a barier what so ever to reality...

Jarvenpa - the parts are all in the paragraphs. The piece has three sections(paragraphs) with diff main ideas for each paragraph :-)

Juliana - Perhaps this has gone a bit too far :-) refer to the explanation comment :-)

Hello young man. ;) I remember watching black and white TV at my parents house!

This post makes me think of the movie "The Matrix". What is reality anyway?

Shutting Up is not the answer. We must talk to each other to make this world a better place!

How you can get so much across in so few words amazes me. Very interesting. =)

Jarvenpa - tnx. But we both know your writing are of a diff level :-)

david - yeah it is not the answer to keep things quiet but that is how they like it to be & kill any rising word of awakeness :-S

NBB - yeah that is one good treatment :-) but then agn Blue is a tranquil color that might cause depression ;-)

LW - well maybe it is because I don find the time to write more ;-)
