Next Stop: Silence...

I shall let this swamp experience waves of excitement nations have forgotten about with a single stone I’ll feed it. “Tranquility is a pre-death status we’ve amused ourselves to” I shall carve on this cold stone. Perhaps the mermaids would wake up to it if they’ve not already died & turned into oil due to tranquility-toxicity like corps of the anti-tranquility community lying silently on the bottom. Seconds after the stone is thrown, stability dominates once more as my energy sinks deeper & out of sight. That must be what had happened after people sacrificed themselves to create waves…

lately I feel the world is so unfair & the ones with effort are the ones who gain or succeed least & it hurts :-S perhpas that is driving me into typings of late.

i'm glad to witness the birth of "Omid:the contemplative poet"..
i see this post it as a farewell message written in the tombstone of a militant..

Thank you for your comment on my blog. You have a beautiful one!

foulla - it is surely related to my affect in relation to my mood. Perhaps with a simple change of the affect I will get well back to normal ;-) (affect in psychiatry is the short term aspect while mood is sth with consistancy; just opposite to everyday english abt mood)

the miner - tnx & good luck Bobby.

Ah, but dr o2, if you toss such a stone, the ripples go out and on forever.
Sometimes it seems to me that the effects of cause-and-effect are long in coming.
And yes, sometimes it seems that all the wrong people seem to be flourishing.
I hope good things come to you (or good people!) and surprise you.

If the waves died it means that the swamp is stronger than being hurt by a tiny stone. You must fight with a stronger weapon. At least you know that even the tiny stone has an effect although not an everlasting one. Do not give up; Find a better way.

Omid, is that you in the picture? Nice hair cut! :) Is this lake the site of a battle during the Iran/Iraq war?

Back in May, I wrote a post called "Islands in the Stream". I think it may be related to what you are writing in this post. If you check it out, let me know what you think.

jarvenpa - yeah that`is true but when the swamp overshadows the waves then there is this sence of hollowness :-S perhaps the world will change...

Kimia - your comment overshadowed my post ;-) it is definitely true. One can dig an angle in the swamp to let the water flow but still it is not clear whether the following seen would be any better...

David - Yep that is me :-) but this swamp is located in the northern district of Iran which has not been much involved in the war.

Will go through your posts to find that particular one. Will add a comment asap.

I agree with Kimia. Perhaps the reason for the tranquility is the isolation, an isolation that kills the dynamics of life and preserves the status qua between elements of water.

I have very good memories of the place or similar spots where you took this picture. Thanks and happy new year.

nyx - thanks. wish U all the best as well.

NBB - well the mexican wave also stops after the 90 mins ;-) happy nu year.

Hydra - Isolation is the real toxin one must try to avoid but sometimes it is imposed on an individual by the society.

david - I read through your post. There is a very good point in that. Itis true no man is an island indeed. As I also wanted to imply, a single person can't make a change & will only create dying waves but a group... very interesting post that. & happy nu year sir. wish U a postful year ahead ;-)

Omid, thanks for taking a look at my old post! Actually, I think that single people do make changes, at least in the lives of the people that they know. It is true that most people will not change the world, but we all touch the lives of others. That was the main message of my post. I think that we are both trying to say the same thing, just from different perspectives. :)

Happy New Year to you sir, as well! :) You are right, it is about time for my new post. ;)
