Physics against me...

I will curse Newton with every breath before I go to sleep tonight. He wants war I give him one!! Ever since I got up this morning, he & his gravity have tried their best to assassinate me.

It all began when I woke up crashing to the ground at 6:00 a.m. I guess that worked as a more effective alarm-clock for me. It was a painful experience which hasn’t completely left me yet. It was ok as I saw nothing special to it.

I started to suspect Mr. Newton when an apple dropped on my once-called head nearly at noon! That was his biggest mistake. An Apple! That old trick!! He made it look as a child had accidentally let go of it from the 2nd floor. Huh! What was he thinking!? I am not a mental retard. (or perhaps no one has ever said it frankly into my face) I confess that pain on anyone’s head would have led to uncovering gravity phenomenon.

Till night it just seemed gravity falling in love with my belongings. My stationary, my shoes, my cell phone all had suddenly found the tendency to fall. Just like iron to magnet!!!

Perhaps you might think there is more to come but hey I’ve taken safety measures & got a helmet on!! Also closed-circuit cameras to monitor his every move... What now Newton!? What’s it gonna be next…

Yeah, I hate it when this happens. One of those days I guess. Just don't provoke Newton too much so he won't drop the moon on earth or something. Then we'd all be fu**ed.

Nice blog, by the way.

I think I'd pay to see your little picture there with a protective helmet...lol. As V.P. of the Physically (and often mentally-but that's another chapter) Uncoordinated Club, I am rather familiar with these Gravity Surges. Perhaps Newton was co-conspiring with your HMO in an attempt to make some money off the deal. Look on the bright side - at least you are in the perfect environment should something go amiss. Oddly, I have a friend that narrowly missed being hit by a pumpkin that 'fell' off of a parking garage. That could have been nasty.

And did you really fall out of bed? {grin} (put pillows on the floor tonight...)

Beware the flyover of large flocks of birds! They tend to lighten their load after takeoff. :)

I am just glad you did not run around like Chicken Little and proclaimed to all that the sky was falling.
Although, given what has happened to you, I may have believed you!

I say next time this happens, climb back into bed and stay there all day. Better not tempt the gods or Newton. :)

chitty - I always thought the day would never come but I honestly did have that in the back of my mind! suddenly it seemed like gravity was mounting...

Anne - well I couldn let Newton get away with it! I mean hey he started it ;-)

david - well that part of gravity was what i had not been thinking abt!! ouch even the thought hurts ;-)

That is a drag indeed...But to be assinated by gravity, and link it to Newton...Well, that is frankly thrilling.
