Life is in black n' white...

“The rich girl with all her belongings could never find happiness till the day she died.”
The book ends with the phrase & the poor little innocent girl closes her book thinking perhaps she has happiness instead of all which she doesn’t. How sad can the rich world be she thinks and with a smile she goes to sleep to reenergize for her tough job the next morning.

The story had a happy ending the rich girl reading it all thinks. Delighted to know that the poor do have a good life, she plans to go shopping for the up-coming party…

Ah, there is often a twist and so many times it comes down to perception. Everyone's reality is their truth.

It's what you see when you wake up in the morning that's your reality. You can dream at night and galivant accross the the most beautiful places in the world but when you wake up and see the 3 cold brick walls around you and a thick steel gate covering the 4th wall...you know you have a problem.

hmm....Life is in black 'n white isn't it?

The girl with her worn out dress picks up her so called purse and off she goes to the supermarket but when she opens her purse to give the money to the salesperson she notices that the money isn't enough and remembers the rich girl in the story and think to herself that" If the rich girl could have seen the poor, their way of life, their way of thinking, their way of clothing and how they are struggling for their life in order to survive, she would have died a HAPPY DEATH!"
people were passing by and no one could feel the girl's presence.

The happiest people that I ever saw (in a TV documentary) were a tribe of hunter gatherers in the forest of South America. They had plenty to eat, they took pleasure in the company of their fellows, and they knew their place in the world. It was almost as if those people lived in their own private Garden of Eden. Sadly, the outer world's greed for wood products may have by now destroyed their idyllic lifestyle.

everytime I go one step up in my salary, I still feel poor but in another scale. I think this shows that life has a spectrum of colors.
